The Manaslu region holds a great prospect of trekking sites extending as large as 177 kms. The two major trekking sites of the region are Tsum valley Trek traversing through the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Area of Nepal and southern parts of Tibet and, Larkya La pass which happens to be one of the widest pass.

Traditionally a culturally distinct geographical called “Tsum Tso Chuksum”, which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory, Tsum Valley trek, now also a part of the Great Himalayan Trek, is one of the most important fascinating treks that is possible in the Manaslu Region. The valley is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in Gorkha District on the backdrops of Ganesh Himal and Singri Himal. Shear Khola serves as the drainage to the valley originating from the western glacier of Ganesh Himal and east and southern glaciers of Sringi Himal later meeting the Budhi Gandaki River at Nyak. Its remote and inaccessible geography has helped this valley keep the originality of its culture, people that are called Bhutias with the Tibetan origin speaking a very unique dialect relating their sacredness and holiness to a Buddhist saint Malireva who is believed to have meditated in the caves of the valley is rich with its iconoclastically grafted chhortens lined with mani walls with beautiful inscriptions of deities and prayers preserved and served with generations and generations of artistic excellence and care.

The famous Kyimu Lung, a pilgrimage circuit hosts a very peaceful and soulful ambience as it has been the destination of learning and meditation since Malirepa. Other than that, the ban on fishing and hunting in this area has led to the florishment of flora and fauna in the region as herds of the Himalayan That and Blue Sheep as thick as 50-200 can be witnessed in the region.
